digital camcorders

digital camcorders

You never want to be without a camcorder to record those special moments. Luckily nowadays they are small enough to be carried around easily, making sure it is always within distance.

The Flip UltraHD Camcorder combines Flip Video's signature shoot-and-share simplicity with the power of vivid, vibrant HD video. Power on and press record to start capturing incredible HD video in seconds. When its time to share your video, use the flip-out USB arm to connect to any PC or Mac and launch built-in FlipShare editing and video-sharing software. Built-in FlipShare software lets you easily email videos, edit individual clips, make custom movies, capture still photos from video, and even upload video to sharing sites like YouTube and MySpace.

After reading about the Flip UltraHD's addition of an HDMI output, larger screen, and longer battery life I decided to sell my 4 month old Flip MinoHD and purchase the Flip UltraHD. Since the MinoHD is very sleek and diminutive in size, my first reaction to the UltraHD was that it was quite a bit larger and bulkier to hold, and has taken some time to get used to. However, unless you've used a MinoHD the larger size of the UlraHD will probably be less noticeable. I found the camera controls on the UltraHD to be slightly easier to operate vs. the touch sensitive buttons on the MinoHD. As far as video quality between the two, I compared two different videos and both are about the same, however, the colors appear to be slightly more vibrant with the UltraHD.

The Flip Ultra HD is just one choice out of many. The key point is to always make sure you have it handy... you will be clad you did!

steven tyler leaving aerosmith

Widespread reports were circulating every news outlet yesterday speculating that Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler after almost 40 years together was leaving the band. On Friday, Joe Perry, Aerosmith's lead guitarist told the Las Vegas Sun that Steven Tyler left the band after their Abu Dhabi concert last month.

According to the British magazine, Classic Rock, Tyler said that he was planning to work on his own band, "Brand Tyler," after he walked off the stage at the UAE show.

Per recent twitter tweets by HJoe Perry, "Aerosmith is positively looking for a new singer to work with. You just can't take 40 years of experience and throw it in the bin"

There has been a lot of controversy as to whether or not this is actually true and I suppose only time will tell, but a new lead singer for Aerosmith will certainly change the face of rock and roll.
